iDEA consulting is an aspiring DBE firm with primarily experience in Bridge, Retaining wall and other transportation related structures design. It was registered with the TX board in May 2022. Sushil Stephen is the principal Structural Engineer and has about 20 years of experience in the industry with experience in both Design Build and in the design of highway bridges, culverts, retaining walls and other roadway / drainage related structures. He has been involved in the design of more than 100 bridges and 100 retaining walls in various capacities.He has worked on 8 Design Build projects on the Design phase and 4 Design Build projects on the proposal phase. He has helped with post design work on 2 DB projects and has a good understanding of the contractors’ requirements.

He has managed design teams for Design Build projects and proposals. He has experience in technical staff management, design management, detailed design, field inspections, and collaboration with contractors in project offices.
